 Spring Lake Day Camp Head for the Mountains, Not the Shore Celebrating its 24th season, Spring Lake Day Camp of Ringwood, NJ has been providing boys and girls ages 3 to 15 a well-rounded program including daily swim instruction, general swims, catered hot lunches, professional sports, arts and adventure programs.. Its age-appropriate program focuses on campers’ individual needs and helps them form life-long friendships, skills and memories. Located in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains, the magnificent 30 acre campus includes a 40,000 square foot pool complex divided into 5 awesome heated pools with water slides, a 5 acre lake for boating and fishing, manicured sports fields, climbing towers, a 500 foot zip line, 4 person bungee, state-of-the-art facilities and so many fun activities, all supervised by mature staff that cannot be matched. Spring Lake Day Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and has been family owned and operated since 1989 by Mitchell and Michelle Kessler. Tuition includes air-conditioned door-to-door mini bus transportation, catered hot lunch, uniform camp shirts and bag. Flexible 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 week sessions are available.  Centenary Summer Scholars Centenary Summer Scholars is a co-ed academic program for rising 7th through 12th grade students. Located on the Main campus of Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey, Summer Scholars provides a rich learning experience set in a small college atmosphere. Summer Scholars has three, one-week sessions available for 2012: July 8-14, July 15-21, & July 22-28. Students can choose from a number of one-week courses: Creative Writing, Fashion Design, Just Dance, Veterinary Science, Television Production, Forensic Science, Going Green, Computer Programming & Game Design, and more. Camp Quality New Jersey provides a summer camping experience and year-round support program for children between the ages if 5 and 17 who have cancer. Many difficult physical and emotional challenges face a child, and his or her family, when battling cancer. At our summer camps we have developed an important type of “therapy” . . . we like to call it Smile Therapy! With a laugh in their hearts and smiles on their faces, Camp Quality Kids find themselves capable of more than they may have dreamed possible. Camp Quality has built its reputation on personalized care. Every camper is paired with a companion who is dedicated completely to his or her care. Companions are the life-blood of Camp Quality; they are fun to be with, adventuresome, great listeners and are always sharing their love for life. Companions and the Program/Activity Staff at camp, work together to encourage children to try new activities and challenges which allow them to leave their “Comfort Zone" in an attempt to build emotional strength and life skills. This year’s Camp Quality session is from June 23 – June 28th. Camp is held at a beautiful and special campsite in Blairstown, NJ that has climate controlled cabins, on-site medical staff who will dispense the child’s medicine, a pool, lake, a zip line, rock climbing, a giant swing, basketball courts, outdoor picnic areas, inside dining areas and more !
