We may not be keeping up with a Kardashian for once.  It has been reported that Khloe Kardashian has been “X’d” from hosting next season’s X Factor.  The 28-year-old co-hosted with Mario Lopez last season on the popular singing competition.  While Lopez has been asked to return, Kardashian seemed to be overwhelmed, as she appeared nervous and unprepared on camera.  She has had no “scripted” television experience prior.

LA hosting expert, Marki Costello, says the show was right in their decision although many Kardashian fans have shown support for Khloe on the show.

“At the end of the day,” she says, “When she doesn’t know what she is doing, are you helping your show or hurting it?”

Costello says that it was painful to watch Kardashian interact with Mario, who has had hosting experience before including “Extra”.

Khloe is not the only one to depart. Judge L.A. Reid announced in December he was not going to return as well as Britney Spears, who debuted last season as a judge.  At least Britney was smart in quitting before she would be potentially axed from the show! Decisions on who will replace them have not been made as of now.
