As far as Twitter goes, this is the David and Goliath of Twitter Battles. During her interview with the mother of the late Whitney Houston, one of Oprah’s 16 million followers made a comment about her (Oprah’s) looks that caught her attention.

@kp1lady said that Oprah looked "old as hell".

...Not very creative....

But on Monday night, Oprah replied on her Twitter account with:

 @kp1lady old as Hell? Really?

As Todd puts it, this is “Opening the Box of Crazy.” Todd is referring to when a celebrity acknowledges a jab from a fan or follower, and that celebrity responds. This then fuels the fire for other people to comment, in hopes to be retweeted or reposted by that celeb… and they did.
