Staten Island Homefront is collecting all different items for our troops and K-9's serving our country. Shampoo, moputhwash, creams, feminine products, shaving cream, disposable cameras, stamps, international phone cards, coffee, tea, fruit snacks, pringles, pretzels, fruit cups, cookies, crackers, batteries, word search & crossword puzzle game books, SILLY STRING, doggie bones, flea shampoo, gold bond cream, etc. You can drop off any items to Transfer City USA 458 Midland Avenue Tuesdays 10:00-5:30, Wednesdays-Saturdays 10:00-6. | | LIVESTRONG in NYC Cancer Awareness Benefit (Charity)
Location: Lolita Bar, 266 Broome St. @ Orchard
Join LIVESTRONG for hors d'oeurves from Union Square Cafe, music and an open mike from 7-10 PM. All are encouraged to share their survivor stories, music, poems, etc. for the open mike. This event will support LIVESTRONG Day, the Lance Armstrong Foundation's one-day initiative to unite people affected by cancer and raise awareness and funds for the cancer fight. A $10 donation at the door is suggested. |

Location: Bergen Community College, Paramus, NJ
Get energized with breakfast and warm ups prior to the start and then take a stroll around the lovely college campus. Be sure to enjoy the fully stocked rest area when you reach the halfway point! Then upon your return celebrate with us by enjoying the music, massages, vendor fair, kids activities and more!

Upon your arrival, celebrate with us by enjoying the food, music, games, prizes, massages and activities for the children. Join our Heroes who battle every day in their struggle with arthritis!

This picnic offers live entertainment, food and drinks, and games and rides for a nominal fee. All proceeds benefit HeartShare Human Services programs for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, as well as for other at-risk children, adults and families.
